In-situ Superconducting Qubit Flux Line Characterization and Precompensation in a Few Lines of Code

An efficient method to correct distortions in qubit signal lines is to pre-compensate the output from the signal generators driving these lines. In this blog post, we present a guide to characterize and compensate for flux-line distortions using the Zurich Instruments HDAWG with the Real-Time Precompensation Option. Through measurements on real qubits, we demonstrate how this approach is conveniently implemented and used within the LabOne Q quantum computing control software framework.
