Zurich Instruments is thrilled to announce the recipients of Student Travel Grants in late 2025!

Zurich Instruments, a leader in research instrumentation and quantum computing control systems, has launched the VHFLI Very High Frequency Lock-in Amplifier, an instrument designed to make advanced signal analysis accessible for every research lab, accelerating scientific discovery across a range of fields. Covering applications in optics and photonics, sensor and electronic device development, nanotechnology, scanning probe microscopy, surface and materials science, the VHFLI Lock-in Amplifier delivers high-performance signal analysis and control from DC up to 200 MHz.

At this year’s NVIDIA GTC D.C., Zurich Instruments showcased its support for NVIDIA NVQLink, a new open reference architecture that integrates CPUs, GPUs, and QPUs into a single powerful hybrid computing system.

Zurich Instruments, a market leader in providing qubit control and readout electronics for quantum computers, and its parent company Rohde & Schwarz, have been selected as key partners in the National Quantum Computing Testbed Facility (NQCT) project in Queensland, Australia. The project, led by A/Prof. Arkady Fedorov at The University of Queensland, has been awarded nearly AU$6 million under the Quantum and Advanced Technologies Commercialisation Infrastructure Program (QCIP). This initiative is part of the Queensland Quantum and Advanced Technologies Strategy, which aims to position Queensland as a leader in quantum innovation and shape the future of jobs and industries.

IQM Quantum Computers, Riverlane, and Zurich Instruments have announced the launch of the SurgeonQ project, a strategic collaboration to create the first quantum computing platform capable of running multiple real-time quantum error correction operations. The project represents progress towards commercially viable quantum computing systems.

Yesterday marked the opening of the UNESCO International Year of Quantum Science and Technology 2025 at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris.
